It's about more than just the pottery
My name is Shannon Eichorst and I am currently a biology student at the University of South Carolina. I began my journey with clay 7 years ago and since then have fallen in love with the craft. I spend the majority of my studio time at the wheel, throwing classically functional forms. Outside of the classroom and the studio I have the privilege of leading Young Life at Ridge View High School. This high school in the Northeast suburbs of Columbia has a student population of about 1,400 students. Along with 5 other leaders I get to love these high schoolers, invite them into a community with fellowship, and introduce them to or further them in their walk with Jesus. Pottery for me is a form of therapy and using it for the glory of His kingdom is such an honor. Every purchase made from SE Pottery will be 100% used to fund students to go to Young Life camp at Windy Gap this summer. Look, shop, and enjoy handmade ceramic pieces so that together we can make a difference in the lives of many.
"Yet you, Lord, are our Father.
We are the clay, you are the potter;
we are all the work of your hand".
Isaiah 64:8
